Yes you can install prefab cabinets also, but you can only do so much when it comes to being out that much! My advice? Have your builder carry a level, make your framer look down the two x fours to make sure the wall studs do not have an excessive crown to them. There is something I call quality over quantity. But if you only care about the lowest price … you might as well add something in to the job to do it right after the job is done, if you know what I mean?
